Soul’s Harbor Charity Golf Tournament...
Soul’s Harbor was blessed to hold our charity golf tournament at Firewheel Golf Park this month, and it was a successful venture for everyone involved. Golf balls were lost, putts were made, funds were raised; but most importantly, all the participants had fun in the sun under the glory of God! Matt Martin and Sean Messick dominated the field as the winning team while also gaining the honors of longest drive and closest to the pin. Bob Pikna, Spencer Pikna, and Scott Lanz finished in a close second place.From all our residents at Soul’s Harbor, the Staff, and our Board of Directors; we would like to sincerely thank all the sponsors who gave so generously to our mission, including: BVWD CPAs, BSB&D Commercial Insurance, Sooner on the Lake, Texans Credit Union, Eiland Coffee, Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream, and Speed Shield Automotive Aesthetic Studio. With their help, and the rest of the participants in the tournament, we were able to raise over $5,000 dollars. These funds will go to updating our facilities here on the campus. And by updating our facilities we can show the residents here that with hard work, patience, and faith, things can and will get better. Just like the improvements we are making to our driveway!
Changes are on the “Drive”-way...
Soul’s Harbor was established in 1956 and has gone through many iterations. But one
constant has been the dirt driveway. The box trucks we use to pick up donations have been parked in that driveway for decades. And during the rainy season, the driveway turns to mud and causes our trucks to track mud all around the property and even get stuck! So, with the help of generous donors like you, we are cementing the driveway. Unfortunately because of funds, we only can do 25% of the driveway at this time. Some things should never change, but some things should. And since our mission is to show our residents how to change for the better, it is important that we continue to change our facilities for the better.

The Harbor Needs Your Help
Soul’s Harbor homeless shelter is supported solely by our four thrift stores. You can donate your household items via phone (972-286-1940) or our “Household Donation Request Form” page. We also take automobiles “Vehicle Donation Request Form“. So if you have old clothes, furniture, appliances, household items, or even a car to donate to Soul’s Harbor, either fill out our online form or call our dispatch office at 972-286-1940. Our dispatch office is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
We are sustained solely through our four thrift store sales. We rely on your donated items to support our shelter. At Soul’s Harbor, we would like to thank all our customers that donate their items and also our thrift store customers. Because without our customers, there would be no Soul’s Harbor:
